Inferiorstructure
The UK seems to be trying a bold experiment. It is making its motorways (freeways) so congested that travellers are forced to contemplate the horrors of UK rail travel. Rail travellers, in their turn, contemplate the joys of staying at home! Transport infrastructure is one of the benchmark indicators used to describe/measure national competitiveness. It is to be hoped that some of the other factors can take up the strain imposed by this woeful contributor.
