VistaNext, the IT operations management offering of InfoVista (a global provider of intelligent performance management software solutions) was selected for the InteropNet at Networld+Interop 2002 Paris, held at the Paris Expo last November. VistaNext is an intelligent, troubleshooting tool that enables fast resolution of IT performance problems. A Web-based interface guides users to activate real-time, situation-relevant network, server, and application performance reports. InteropNet's NOC personnel used VistaNext to pinpoint instantly the underlying cause of any performance problem. In addition, VistaNext monitored InteropNet's basic performance, by tracking statistics such as reachability and response times to various Web sites worldwide. (InteropNet was a high-speed network utilising the latest networking technology from some of the industry's leading companies and provided more than 5,000 service points to exhibitors and conference attendees.) InfoVista was recently ranked fourth in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Program in France, and received a special award from Euronext for the quality of its financial information.
