| Abstract: | Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to describe the information about the E-prints project in Librarianship and Information Science (E-LIS) experience. Design/methodology/approach – Descriptive method with informative scope. Findings – E-LIS had generated a new international view of the intellectual production in Library and Information Sciences (LIS) that include information professionals from emergent and developing countries. Practical implications – Contribute to understand the real dimension of the intellectual production in LIS. Originality/value – This paper is of special interest for LIS research. |
