Abstract:A three-dimensional analysis of the quasistationary, magnetic leakage field of a one-phase transformer with asymmetrical disk windings is presented. A simplified mathematical model of the transformer based on Maxwell’s equations is applied. Computational results of the leakage reactance for asymmetrical disk-type windings are compared with the analytical ones according to Richter’s formulae.
