| Abstract: | Describes a two-tiered, multi-company, first line management programme involving four chemical companies in the North East of England. Highlights the benefits of the programme, claiming that it successfully merges individual management development and organizational development with the commercial objectives of the companies involved. Claims that investment in development is good business when it comes to developing supervisors into modern team leaders/managers, in light of specific industry requirements. |
