Kybernetes is concerned with the interdisciplinary study of cybernetics and systems in the widest sense. One of the advanced application areas is service system. Kybernetes will publish a special issue dedicated to the theme of “Recent advances of Engineering Management and risk management in China” in 2012.
As a traditional area, Engineering Management has always been in the core of the research study in Academia. In the current uncertain world, risk management has become more and more important. New risks in many practical Engineering Management problems require new computational methods and tools.
This special issue of Kybernetes on the theme of “Recent advances of Engineering Management and risk management in China” is intended to present recent advances in developing various computing tools and their applications to Engineering Management and risk management. We aim to publish advances made in computational algorithms and element methodology and to encourage innovation, particularly directed at engineering applications. Authors, especially from China, are encouraged to submit both theoretical and applied articles addressing the theme of this special issue.
