'Emergency Management: Themes in Emergency Planning, Response and Recovery' is a new research conference to bring together academics and practitioners to share information and develop opportunities for collaboration in future practised based research in the emergency services.
The conference will be peer reviewed and in addition to the presentation of full papers there will be a poster session for research projects currently in the development stages. The International Journal of Emergency Services will be offering a Prize for the Best Paper and the Emergency Services Research Unit at NTU will be sponsoring a prize for the best student poster.
The conference organising committee will be led by Vivienne Brunsden, Rowena Hill & Jeff Goatcher of the Emergency Services Research Unit to whom all suggestion for papers and panels should be addressed.
