Editorial Objective

Humanomics is a multidisciplinary journal devoted to the ethico-economic study of major socio-economic issues, with a world perspective. The main objective of the journal is to disseminate scholarly views and writings on ethico-economic issues for the awareness, education and interest of an informed readership.

Editorial Criteria

Humanomics is the official journal of the Center of Humanomics (COH). COH is affiliated with the Postgraduate Program in Islamic Economics and Finance (IEF), Trisakti University, Jakarta, Indonesia.

COH is an association of university professors, academicians, researchers and practitioners from around the world. COH is devoted to the scientific development of the paradigm of ethico-economics and ethico-systems analysis in all fields of human inquiry. The paradigm takes the view that ethics is systemically endogenous and can thus be treated by rigorous scientific analysis in all issues and problems of human inquiry. This endogenous, ethico-systems study is deeply epistemological in content and invokes the episteme of unity of knowledge in a systemic sense. As a deeply methodological field, Humanomics uses the paradigm of circular causation in reference to extended knowledge-induced interaction, integration and creative evolution across relational systems and their variables, functions and entities.

The activities of COH comprise publication of the refereed international journal, Humanomics, the holding of occasional conferences and learned forums (in the area of endogenous ethical analysis within world-systems) and all that this involves. COH encourages the world community to get involved in its socio-scientific research program.

The journal, which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014, has four issues per year. The editor is the eminent Professor Masadul Alam Choudhury, who is based at the Department of Economics & Finance, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman. Please submit all paper through the online submission service, ScholarOne Manuscripts, at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/human.
