Unique attributes

The International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management aims to address new developments and thinking in productivity science, and performance measurement and management including new techniques, approaches and related reflective analysis designed to improve individual, group and organisational performance. It seeks to develop an understanding in and across manufacturing, service, public and third sector organisations. The journal aims to be multi-disciplinary drawing from, amongst others, the fields of Operations & Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour.

Key benefits

The journal includes both peer-reviewed research papers and, a 'reflective practice' section which includes news, practical examples and case studies, together with personal viewpoints, to help set the developing body of knowledge within a context of practical application. The theoretical and practical papers combine to create an internationally-respected journal consulted by managers and academics all over the world.

Key journal audiences

Coverage

Articles can address these topics theoretically or empirically through either a descriptive or critical approach. The co-Editors support articles that significantly bring new knowledge to the area both for academics and practitioners. The material for publication in IJPPM should be written in a manner which makes it accessible to its entire wide-ranging readership. Submissions of highly-technical or mathematically-oriented papers are discouraged.
