Journal of Enterprise Information Management (JEIM) strives to publish high quality articles of significant intellectual interest and commercial relevance to managers, consultants, lecturers and students operating within business enterprise environments. All papers submitted to JEIM are initially filtered by the Editor and then subjected to rigorous review by a team of qualified internationally acknowledged academics. JEIM now has a history of contributing to the normative literature, providing conceptual and practical insights and generating innovative ideas from recent research into organizational enterprise.
In an increasingly complex industrial and commercial world enterprise plays an important role in generating greater cost effectiveness, efficiency of operations and increased performance of organizations. Enterprising innovations, enabled through information and communications technologies, are a critical component of strategic intent. The evidence suggests that these information management systems, adopted and deployed successfully, instigate immediate investment related advantages. JEIM invites serious appraisal and evaluation of these approaches through current paradigms, methodologies and contexts.
JEIM increasingly publishes an holistic range of research findings from internationally distinguished experts in the field. Scholarly examinations of the latest theory and practice from the foremost research institutions are augmented by contributions from senior business managers and consultants, who report on specific enterprise case histories. This blended contribution of theoretical and practical outcomes results in an extensive communication of commercial findings and audience understanding of current, applied and rigorous research.
