Editorial objectives

The journal aims to provide an international forum for the publication of high quality research in: finance, financial management, international finance, economics, banking, financial markets, financial institutions, financial strategy, accounting and management information, corporate finance, investments, real estate, insurance and risk management, global finance, financial education and all other issues related to finance. The journal also welcomes cross disciplinary research which examines finance’s interaction with other fields.

Editorial criteria

Managerial Finance is interested in publishing quality, interesting and useful research. We strive to be an outlet for both theoretical and empirical research.

Coverage

Managerial Finance is published 12 times per year with 5-7 papers per issue. There will be 8-10 regular issues each year and 2-4 special issues. The special issues will be commissioned by the Editor on topics of certain interest, each with a strong Guest Editor.

Topicality

Managerial Finance takes the approach of broad coverage across all finance related areas. However, the number of issues it publishes each year (12), and its limited use of special issues, allows it to quickly dedicate issues to topics as they arise in the field.
