Mental Health and Social Inclusion focuses on social inclusion issues for people who have mental health problems.
The journal aims to provide a forum for those involved in the field - providers and service users - to share experiences and ideas, showcase innovative approaches, explore difficulties and dilemma and suggest solutions. It focuses on the things that people want to do with their lives, rather than on how to access mental health care.
The journal aims to present and reflect upon new kinds of daytime opportunities that promote active involvement in work, leisure and the arts in the wider community for people who use mental health services.
The journal is practical in focus and enables readers to keep up to date with innovative approaches, best practice, difficulties, dilemmas and possible solutions.
The journal goes to NHS trusts, social service departments, universities and colleges, training providers, housing associations, voluntary sector agencies, government departments, commissioners, service users and individual subscribers.
