Draft guidance notes on labelling of food supplements

Draft guidance notes which outline how dietary supplements are regulated in the UK have been circulated by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). They contain the advice the FSA provides in response to queries, and will bring this information together in one place so as to be helpful to industry and enforcement authorities. The notes describe the framework of legislation which applies and outline the relevant labelling rules. They also contain advice on nutrition labelling, which is intended to promote consistency in the presentation of this information.
