Chung-Hoon Park is the senior consultant of the office of IT consulting at Samsung SDS. He received his BS degree in Physics from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and his MS and PhD degrees from the Graduate School of Management at KAIST. He has published in International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management and Business Process Management Journal, etc. His research interest is in the areas of customer relationship management, knowledge management, and business process management.
Young-Gul Kim is the director of the Knowledge Management Research Center at the Graduate School of Management of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He has BS and MS degrees from Seoul National University and a PhD degree from University of Minnesota's Curtis L. Carlson School of Management. Before joining KAIST in 1993, he taught at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, USA as a faculty member for three years.
He has published in numerous academic journals such as Communications of the ACM, Journal of MIS, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Business Process Management Journal, Journal of Strategic Information Systems, etc. He was also the founding editor-in-chief of the Knowledge Management Research Journal published by the Korea Knowledge Management Society and guest editor for the Business Process Management Journal's Special Issue on Knowledge Management. His paper on IS Outsourcing Partnership received the best paper award at the 1997 International Decision Science Conference, held in Sydney, Australia.
