Abstract

Ideally, technical education and the training of technical personnel generally, should be a responsibility shared equally by the world of education and the world of industry. We have become accustomed lately to seeing a new and welcome initiative on the part of educationists which contrasts markedly with the reluctance of industry to think in fresh terms and adopt up‐to‐date procedures. The report ‘Technical Education in Wales’, presented on 3rd March by the Central Advisory Council for Education (Wales), illustrates this modern trend for educationists to set the pace of advance in technical education and training.
