Abstract

The new Triumph Acclaim four‐door family saloon is being built to meet the Canadian Code for corrosion resistance — generally regarded as being the toughest in the world. For the body shell, BL Cars specified as its No. 1 priority maximum corrosion resistance allied to an attractive and durable finish. Metal surface pretreatments developed by Pyrene Chemical Services Ltd. were chosen by BL and the pretreatment and cathodic plant and underseal application was designed and built by Dürr Ltd. of Warwick.
