Cruise and slim on P&O Cruises

P&O Cruises has expanded its service on board to cater for those passengers with specific dietary needs. In particular, passengers that need to follow a low fat diet can have meals tailored to suit their dietary needs.

Meals can be adapted to ensure that they are suitable for a low fat diet whilst still being of the highest quality. At every meal-time low fat alternatives are made available including a selections of grilled meats and seafood, fresh salads and exotic fruit platters.

All ships have a chef dedicated to the preparation of meals for special diets. This chef will be advised by the reservations team in advance of embarkation of all passengers with special diet needs to ensure that the required ingredients are available. Once on board the headwaiter will contact these passengers to discuss and make sure these needs are met.

Diets catered for, include:

  • Gluten free/wheat free.

  • Dairy free/lactose intolerant.

  • Vegetarian/vegan.

  • Kosher.

  • Low fat.

  • Diabetic.

  • Baby food.
