Jotun powder coatings chooses Hosokawa Micron

Norwegian paints and powder coatings manufacturer Jotun has selected Hosokawa Micron GmbH as its supplier of powder coating milling systems for Jotun UK.
The Jotun Group is a world-wide producer of paints and powder coatings, with production units in Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, Australia, Africa and North America.
Hosokawa Micron was awarded the contract by Jotun in the face of very tough competition. Hosokawa Micron GmbH deputy manager Guido Schnetzer said: ''The Mikro ACM system's high performance levels were of course an important factor. Just as important was the technical expertise and back-up that Hosokawa Micron provide with every installation.''
Hosokawa Micron's Mikro ACM milling systems are stated to be designed as PSR II explosion pressure shock resistant and also incorporate features which Jotun have specified to be their standard.
The latest installation successfully commissioned at Jotun UK was an ACM 30 PSR II. Designed to allow the future addition of a Mikro CC classifier in the future, this will provide in-line classification capability. Hosokawa Micron's latest generation Mikro CC classifier will reportedly produce both standard and thin film powders with maximum yields.
