American Coatings Show launched
The US National Paint & Coatings Association (NPCA) and Vincentz Network, publisher of international coatings journals and organiser of the European Coatings Show, have agreed to launch a new Science and Technology Initiative in the USA including a new “American Coatings Show” and, in conjunction with it, the “American Coatings Conference,” a high-level science and technology forum. The venture aims at “creating the premier US coatings industry exhibition and conference.” According to NPCA, a “very significant” number of top companies have already endorsed the event. “The American Coatings Show and its concurrent activities will be a globally aligned enterprise,” said Andy Doyle, President of NPCA; “It will become a `must-attend' event.” The American Coatings Show will have a bi-annual schedule, beginning in 2008, at a dedicated, fixed venue.
