Rust-Oleum launches new anti-graffiti coating

Article Type: New materials and equipment From: Pigment & Resin Technology. Volume 37, Issue 3.

Rust-Oleum Industrial Brands has released High Performance Anti-Graffiti Barrier Coating and Remover System, which provides protection against graffiti while minimizing environmental impact. The VOC, water-based polyurethane barrier coat prevents graffiti from damaging both painted and unpainted surfaces while the soy-based graffiti cleaner clings to vertical surfaces to dissolve graffiti paint for fast removal.

Two to three coats of the barrier coating are applied by brush, roller or spray to protect a wide variety of surfaces, including concrete, brick, masonry, and painted wood and metal. The industrial-grade barrier coating is non-sacrificial and solvent-resistant. The durable finish is UV stable and will resist chalking or fading in either interior or exterior applications.
