Powered by Adaptus(tm) Imaging Technology 5.0, the 4820i aggressively reads all linear and 2D bar codes at any angle, including those that are damaged and poorly printed, plus has the ability to capture digital images.

A unique thumbwheel end-cap gives operators the ability to swap batteries on-the-fly instead of docking the scanner for charging – essential for operations that run multiple shifts and require constant scanner availability.

The 4820i also integrates a shock absorbent housing with impact resistant over-mold that gives the 4820i the ability to endure 50 drops to concrete from 2m while its IP54 sealing prevents the intrusion of dust and liquid, making it suitable for use indoors or out. The 4820i's Bluetooth(r) wireless technology enables users to move freely around the work area unimpeded by cables.
