Amendment of EC Food Labelling Law: QUID and Other Proposals

Abstract

Discusses arguments between food labelling and compositional standards, and the inconsistencies and deficiencies of new EC proposals concerning: quantities of ingredients; name under which a product is sold; foodstuffs consisting of a single ingredient; labelling of alcoholic beverages.
