Abstract

Based on extensive fieldwork in Vietnam and first‐hand knowledge of library science education in the country, the paper proposes a detailed library school curriculum in electronic information and electronic resources. Drawing heavily on the experience of developed countries, the paper develops a series of ten courses that together provide in‐depth training in all aspects and types of electronic resources. The paper discusses not only course content but also teachning methods, IT requirements to support teaching, and staffing.
