Facet Publishing has produced a 2nd edition of Know It All, Find It Fast, a practical guide to survival at the reference desk written by, and for, librarians involved in front line reference work. The 1st edition of the guide was reviewed in this journal on its publication last year and was voted “Best General Reference Work 2003” by the Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence. Its success is perhaps confirmed by the arrival of an updated 2nd edition this year.
