Abstract

Outlines the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food’s food acceptability and choice programme. Established in 1991 the programme’s main aim was to improve the nation’s health through improved nutrition and health by promoting dietary change. Twenty‐four separate research projects have so far been commissioned, 17 of which have been completed. Lists the broad topics of the research and briefly outlines the future plans.
