Abstract

Productivity techniques are no longer in fashion. Yet, for many years they were regarded as essential to the process of analysing and improving productivity. Argues that the techniques are still very useful ‐ but as part of a coherent approach to understanding and improving productivity. Explains some of the more common, and more traditional techniques set in a context of a productivity improvement strategy.
