Abstract

All organizations have to consider how they make themselves fit to compete in the twenty‐first century ‐ to compete for work, resources and recruits. The armed forces are no exception. The US Army has established a process of change covering a number of “business” improvement methodologies and processes. Describes the main components of this performance and quality improvement programme.
