E‐book technology is now a marvellous opportunity for anyone to become a self‐published e‐book author. Publishing or distributing e‐books is cost effective and is rapdily gaining in popularlty. More educational information can now be published by educators and easily distributed to millions of people. This handy book provides a very interesting guide to writing, compiling and selling e‐books on the internet. It is easy to read and understand from start to finish. This is because the author's writing style and the contents are designed and organised to be simple to understand and practical.

Oghojafor takes readers step‐by‐step through idea conception, writing and editing, compiling, marketing, and all other steps in the e‐book process. He then discusses methods and strategies of marketing and promoting e‐books. Part 1 of the book consists of of eight chapters covering what we need to know about writing and compiling e‐books. Chapter 1 deals with basic concepts about e‐books and how e‐books are created. The other chapters deal with how to choose a subject, researching and brainstorming the market for your subject before writing, how to write the e‐book using a computer, tape recorder or a voice dictation software, preparing an attractive graphic cover, compiling information with an e‐book compiler using free or fee‐based HTML or PDF formats, choosing a compiler, and protection of your e‐book copyright.

Part 2 is about publishing and marketing your e‐book. This part contains Chapters 9‐18. These include publishing and uploading your e‐book onto the Internet, designing a website for your e‐book and preparing the sales literature, how to sell your e‐book yourself or using third‐party credit card processors or e‐book vendors, free ways of promoting and marketing your e‐book online and offline, using affiliate programmes and pay‐per‐click and using autoresponders to promote your e‐book, and how to discipline yourself to carry out a day‐to‐day marketing and promotion plan for your e‐book.

This book is useful for anyone who wishes to write, publish, and sell e‐books on the Internet.
