Abstract

With the growing numbers of companies failing, due to the current economic climate, there has been a revival of interest in the theories of corporate recovery, turnaround, revival, rejuvenation – to quote some of the terms used. An appropriate strategy is ultimately the only way to avoid corporate decline, and this comes from a mixture of experience, managerial craft, skill, intelligence and intuition.
