The Electronic Book Arrives: At Last?

Abstract

An initial series of small CD‐ROM discs containing the texts of books, and of a hand‐held reader to access them, has recently been launched by Columbia Tristar Home Video and Sony. Describes the products and considers their impact on the publishing and library worlds.
