Abstract

Examines the student enterprise (SE) programme, which has been one of EHE′s unexpected strengths. It was introduced fairly late into the initiative and, although having made considerable achievements, has not had sufficient time to develop its full potential. Many institutions were quick to terminate SE funding when DFEE money came to an end. Examines the roots of SE, discusses some of its main areas of activity and the benefits it has brought, and explores some of its potential with a view to future developments in the area.
