Audiovisual archives worldwide are facing a challenge: the digitization of the historical collections of moving images and sound. The result of the new change in technology is easier access to television and radio programmes transmitted to millions of people. However, new technology in the field of information is not a substitute for the basicknowledge needed to search the Internet or use computer systems.
