Corrintec adds new dimension to its service

Corrintec Ltd, the specialists in cathodic protection engineering, have widened the scope of their activities through the acquisition of Marine Protection Services Ltd (MPSL) of South Shields.

This is another major step in the development of Corrintec which is maintaining an accelerating pattern of growth with sales of impressed current cathodic protection equipment for cruise, commercial and military vessels.

As a result of the acquisition, Corrintec will be putting new impetus behind marketing the Marion System, a portable ICCP system primarily designed to protect vessels which are laid up or undergoing lengthy fitting out work. The equipment is available for purchase or can supplied on a rental basis for the protection of ships, jetties and floating docks.

MPSL's manufacturing and servicing facilities have been transferred from South Shields to Corrintec's factory in Winchester where there is sufficient capacity to absorb the new operation.
