New factory opened

Keywords BIP, Growth, Plastics

BIP Limited informs us that, in order to meet an increasing demand for its plastic media, it has just opened a new purpose-built factory at its Oldbury, West Midlands site.

As a member of the BIP Group, BIP Plastic Media is in a unique position - the company does not have to rely solely on a finite supply of reject materials for its Type II (urea), Type III (melamine) and Type V (acrylic) media. On the same site as the new factory, the group operates a large moulding materials manufacturing plant and BIP plastic media is able to draw on this as necessary, guaranteeing a continuous feedstock supply chain.

Said operations manager, Sean Williams: "The new factory will not only allow us to increase production capacity and improve our overall service to our customers, it will also enable us to expand our application base as the environmental and cost saving benefits of plastic media stripping become apparent".
