The last ten years of CPI Digest issues have been combined in a searchable CD-ROM database containing over 112,000 references. The database will be updated quarterly in January, April, July, and October. Each update will add about 3,000 records.
CPI Digest is a monthly publication which contains abstracts of articles from the major business, trade and scientific periodicals concerned with the coatings, adhesives, and allied industries.
Records in the database have been tagged with a novel series of keywords which – for example – allow the searcher to find information on a subject regardless of how it is spelled or identified. Search options allow the user to select information concerning business and technology, R&D, and US Patents, or any combination of these.
A free CD-ROM demo disc which contains the 1996 and 1997 issues of CPI Digest (20,889 records, about 20 per cent of the total database) is available from CPI Information Services.
