EPC in Maastricht saw the launch of PAL's (Process Automation International Ltd) latest model of the PALTECH and the new Copper Replenishment System (CRS).
"With several PALTECH machines now in operation, a number of developments have been introduced to improve plating performance as well as ease of maintenance", explains managing director of PAL, Geoff Paterson. "These include an improved flow-bar design, which produces excellent throwing power in blind vias, and a secondary cathode system for in-line stripping of rollers."
The CRS has been redesigned to improve its efficiency and features a new sensor system and a buffer tank, which allows the plating solution to be degassed prior to copper replenishment.
