USF Vacu-Blast "Ventus" machines in action!

Keyword: USF Vacu-Blast

USF Vacu-Blast International has produced a new, full colour, A4 newsletter embracing a wide variety of case studies and up-to-date product information on its versatile "Ventus" range of high quality cabinet abrasive blasting machines.

Entitled Ventus in Action, the publication highlights how USF Vacu-Blast Ventus machines have solved problems for companies involved in industries as diverse as offshore drilling, precision casting and yachting, and also covers latest developments in the Ventus range. The latter include the new "Ventus II 150P" low-profile machine designed to streamline component handling and the processing of deep parts, and the "Ventus 180" machine developed for blasting long components.

Robustly constructed for production environments, Ventus machines are available with processing enclosures up to 2m x 2m x 2m. Each machine features a full-width, gauze-protected viewing window, high internal illumination for maximum operator visibility, easily accessible blast pressure adjustment, heavy-duty full length gauntlets, and an integral blow-off gun to clean components in the enclosure after cleaning. Safety-interlocked access doors have been specially designed to eliminate media and dust spillage. An in-cycle blast media recovery system automatically recycles reusable media back to the blast nozzle and includes a COSHH-compliant, reverse-jet, dust collector with a quick-release filter cartridge.

The machines operate with all types of blast media, and semi-automatic and automatic variants are also available for precision blasting applications.

Copies of Ventus in Action are available on request from the company.
