Devizes-based Relcross, a UK supplier of high quality washroom hardware, has recently been appointed sole UK distributor of the Bradley range of emergency and safety fixtures.

Bradley emergency and safety fixtures are designed to provide solutions in workplace environments, where the use of hazardous substances poses a potential safety risk. The range consists of eyewashes, drench hoses, drench showers and accessories, which provide quick, easy access to a steady flow of safe water.

Unlike ordinary taps, eyewashes enable both eyes to be gently cleansed at the same time. As well as plumbed-in models, the comprehensive range of eyewashes also includes portable stations and frost-proof models for external use. Drench showers and drench hoses provide full-body cleansing. The showers feature a standard 254mm shower-head to allow maximum water exposure, and are activated with a single large handle.

All fixtures are supplied normally in a bright yellow Bradtect coating over galvanized steel. This tough, highly visible polyurethane coating provides additional corrosion resistance, and ensures that the units stand out in an emergency. Optional finishes include stainless steel and PVC for special applications.

Automatic audible and visible alarms can be added, so secondary assistance can be provided to the injured person. Barrier-free specifications allow easy access for people with disabilities.
