Corrocoat strengthens field sales team

Corrocoat has appointed Mike Ledgard as Regional Sales Manager for the Yorkshire and the North East of England, strengthening the company's presence in this important market and providing professional support for existing and potential customers in the area.

Mike (36) brings to Corrocoat a wealth of experience in technical sales. His career history is focused on the engineering industry, and he joins the company from Chemetall PLC, part of the Dynamit Nobel Group, where he worked as technical sales consultant, with responsibilities including servicing the existing customer base and new business development.

Mike's new role at Corrocoat will give him an excellent opportunity to exercise his proven selling skills, opening up new routes to market for Corrocoat products and services worldwide and expanding the company's business across a range of markets within the UK.

As regional sales manager for his area, he will focus on providing technical sales advice for customers in industries as varied as offshore, power generation, petrochemicals and water treatment.

"Mike is a highly successful sales professional with the experience and background to complement Corrocoat's growing field sales team" stated Peter Hardman, Sales and Marketing Manager for Corrocoat. "He is already making a real contribution to the business, working to generate and support sales growth through new and existing customers across his area."

Mike lives in Wakefield, and his interests include sports, foreign travel and fine dining.
