Ultrasonic Scientific expands customer support team

Ultrasonic Scientific Ltd., innovator in High-Resolution Ultrasonic Spectroscopy (HR-US) for material analysis, has appointed multi-lingual product specialists Dr Jean-Marc Sabattié and Dr Gregor Stieger to further support customers worldwide.

Ultrasonic Scientific's customer-led approach requires an experienced team of HR-US specialists to support customers in the use of ultrasonic spectroscopy and to assist them in solving a range of analytical problems. Dr Sabattié and Dr Stieger complement this team, bringing with them extensive expertise in material analysis and characterisation as well as fluency in at least two European languages. This extends the multi-lingual product support Ultrasonic Scientific offers, which now includes English, French and German.

Dr Sabattié and Dr Stieger will be working closely with Ultrasonic Scientific customers and potential customers, providing on-site demonstrations of the HR-US instruments and designing new solutions for a range of material analysis problems in the pharmaceutical, biotech, petrochemical, cosmetics, polymer and food and beverage industries. Dr Sabattié will also be utilising his presentation skills by giving HR-US seminars.

Dr Sabattié, who has a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of East Anglia brings work experience from two of Ireland's top universities to the post. As senior researcher at Dublin City University, he analysed sol-gel materials for photonics and sensing applications. Prior to this, he was project manager for an analytical chemistry distance teaching project at University College, Cork. Dr Steiger has a PhD in colloidal chemistry and extensive experience working at global pharmaceutical organisation Novartis AG and the Max-Planck Institute for Metal Research in Germany.

Breda O'Driscoll, the Managing Director of Ultrasonic Scientific, comments: “We are delighted to have Dr Sabattié and Dr Stieger join our team of world leading experts in ultrasonic spectroscopy. With their invaluable experience and knowledge, both are excellently qualified to maintain Ultrasonic's high levels of customer service, providing effectual solutions to a broad range of analytical problems”.

Ultrasonic Scientific is a pioneer in ultrasonic analytical technology and is continuing to expand its customer support team in response to the company's growing international customer base.
