Industrial Nanotech develops new corrosion resistant pipeline coating

Industrial Nanotech Inc. has developed a thermally insulating, corrosion resistant coating for use on subsea oil and gas pipelines.

The new product, named Nansulate Aqua, is part of Industrial Nanotech's product line of specialty coatings containing a nanotechnology-based material. The coatings provide thermal insulation, prevent corrosion, and resist mold.

“The world's demand for energy is increasing rapidly, forcing new methods of accessing fuel sources,” says Francesca Crolley, VP of Operations and Marketing for Industrial Nanotech.

Nansulate Aqua is available immediately to commercial customers and the formulations can be customized to suit the specific needs, application parameters, and environmental conditions of specific projects, according to Industrial Nanotech. The Nansulate product line includes both industrial and residential coatings.
