New Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF foam increases the application possibilities of fluoropolymers.
By creating an Expanded Solef® that is up to 16 times lighter, new important material properties are added to key benefits such as fire-, chemical- and UV-resistance, thermal stability and purity. In addition to light weight, Solef® Expanded PVDF provides improved thermal insulation and mechanical resilience.
Perhaps, the greatest advantage however is its new capability to be easily moulded. Large and complex, three-dimensional shaped components can now be delivered in a one-step process, multiplying the ways the material can be used.
Established markets for Solef® such as aerospace, automotive, semiconductor and chemical process industries, oil and gas, water treatment, marine, bioscience, pharmaceutical, and pulp and paper can all benefit from the new material and process possibilities of Expanded PVDF.
Solef® 80 000 Series Expanded PVDF is produced in partnership by JSP and Solvay Solexis.
