Stainless and high alloy precision tube maker, Sandvik Précitube has issued a new technical, size range and capability brochure.
Sandvik Précitube based in Charost, France is a production unit of Sweden's AB Sandvik Steel and was acquired by the Sandvik Group in 1996.
Specialising in the production of stainless steel and nickel alloy precision tubes for demanding aerospace applications Sandvik Précitube's manufacturing size range is from 0.4mm up to 50.8mm outside diameter with wall thicknesses from 0.05mm to 4.0mm.
The new six page brochure details the size range and dimensional tolerances achievable and lists the typical material grades produced.
A key feature of the manufacturing capability is the variety of finishing operations on offer. Tubes can be supplied with bright or externally polished surfaces and internal surfaces with specified roughness. An internal roughness of Ra<O.41µm can be guaranteed.
As well as cut to length, tubes can be supplied flared, flattened, drilled or machined. All products are supplied Quality Assured to relevant industry standards and regulations.
