The British Standards Institution announces the publication of:

BS 4A 228:1997

Specification for steel double hexagon bolts. 1,250 MPa (180,000 lbf/in²) for aircraft. This is a new edition incorporating the requirements for 11/8 UNJF bolts and correcting editorial errors, but it does not reflect a full review or revision of the standard which will be undertaken in due course.
