Langford Lodge Engineering invest in IT
Langford Lodge Engineering Ltd has signed a £450,000 contract with leading IT services and software provider, Sanderson, for its integrated manufacturing management system PICS.
Langford Lodge, based in Co. Antrim, Ireland, manufactures and tests components used in the aerospace industry and has invested in the full suite of PICS modules, including financial, logistics and production management software. The modules will be implemented over the next 12 months, replacing the company's MAAPICS system.
Langford Lodge employs over 200 people and PICS will be used to support the existing business, as well as being flexible enough to cater for its planned expansion, as it has won the contract to supply components to Lucas Aerospace for the Airbus.
