NGL wins Nimrod contract for hydraulic system components

Normalair-Garrett Ltd (NGL), teamed with Vickers Systems Division, have been awarded a contract from British Aerospace Division to supply the hydraulic system components for the Power Generation System on BAe's Nimrod MRA Mk4 programme. Under this contract NGL and Vickers Systems Division will provide the engineering support and components associated with the power generation and distribution of the hydraulic system.

NGL and Vickers will be working closely with BAe to develop and provide a hydraulic system which will have high reliability and low maintenance and will have a minimum cost of ownership throughout the programme.

NGL recently announced the award of a major contract to supply the environmental control system, and this contract extends the range of system components that NGL will be supplying to the very important Nimrod MRA Mk4 programme.
