Lucas Aerospace Appoints VP Government Relations, USA
Lucas Aerospace, a business of Lucas Varity plc, the global automotive and aerospace group, has appointed William Stewart "Bud" Orr, Jr, their vice-president Government Relations, USA.
Following a career spanning 26 years in the US Navy, Bud Orr rose to the rank of captain. He commanded Carrier Air Wing 14, aboard USS Constellation and was principal deputy, Senate liaison, on his last tour. He has also held a number of roles, culminating as director of marketing military programs, Rolls-Royce Inc., Rosslyn, VA.
Bud Orr joined Lucas Aerospace on 23 March 1998. He will be based in Washington DC and he will report directly to the managing director, Ken Maciver.
