The Fluids Management Group (FMG) of IMI Marston has clinched a six figure contract with Denel Aviation to supply ECS system bleed air ducting for the Rooivalk attack helicopter.

It is FMG's first-ever deal with the South African aerospace manufacturer. The Midlands-based company are contracted to supply 16 sets of titanium hose assemblies and titanium tubing which are insulated through to the year 2000.

Comments Philip Barton, FMG's Group sales and marketing manager: "We produced the first set of assemblies for the development helicopters last year. The contract is a prestigious one for us which has also enabled us to further develop our titanium hose product portfolio".
