A 12-page, full-colour brochure from Fibreforce of Runcorn explains the benefits of using pultruded composite profiles as an alternative to traditional materials such as aluminium and steel. Detailed technical illustrations are used to help explain the manufacturing process and how various material properties can be achieved to suit different applications.

Simple tables are used to compare the mechanical properties of pultrusions to those of other materials and there are three pages of useful information on the design and fabrication of composite sections. The new brochure has been produced to help engineers who may be considering specifying composites for the first time, as well as providing information on the range of materials and processes available.
