A.J .Walter Aviation informs us that it has recently opened a subsidiary office in Naples designed to build awareness of its component supply and management service across mainland Italy and North Africa. A.J. Walter Aviation (Italy) provides a vital support programme for ATITEC, owned by Alitalia, with its extensive inventory of spares for DC9 and DC10 commercial aircraft.

Dr Maurizio Lervasi, director of the Italian operation, is supported locally by a team of two sales managers with full back-up from Italian speaking personnel at A.J. Walter Aviation's headquarters in the UK. He is currently looking for acquisitions and packages of inventory to further enhance the services that the company wishes to provide in the southern Mediterranean region.

The company also reports that High Standard Aviation, who are based in Miami, have appointed it to represent their interests throughout the world. High Standard Aviation specialise in the repair of highly complex hydraulic and pneumatic components for all types of commercial aircraft flying today.

To promote this specialist service facility, A.J. Walter Aviation will be targeting national carriers, maintenance facilities worldwide, private operators, governments and air forces.
